On Saturday, the DHS  homecoming dance was held as a part of homecoming weekend.

The annual dance was held in the commons, which was decorated in the Hawaiian theme..

Kaitlyn White, a senior who has gone to homecoming all four of her high school years said the music is what made this year’s dance one her most memorable.

She said “In my opinion, most of 2017 music is way better than last year’s so that made it ten times better. Also the fact that they played a lot more music that I know how to sing along too made it great.”

She said they kept the music going and it all flowed together very nicely.

Tickets were $5 each, with some of the proceeds being donated to St. Jude’s Foundation.
