This week is homecoming at Dunlap High School.

There are many activities planned this week to symbolize Dunlap’s school spirit and great start to the school year.

Spirit week includes:

Monday- Pajama Day

Tuesday- Tourist Tuesday

Wednesday- Decades Day

Thursday- Homecoming class shirt

Friday- Maroon and Gold

According to the Dunlap Student Council twitter page, powderpuff and macho volleyball will be held on the football field Friday. Sign up sheets are available outside Mrs. Snyder’s classroom, W4.

The week of celebration will end with the homecoming dance on Sept. 22 from 7:30-10pm. This year the dance will be held in Chillicothe at Three Sisters Park barn.

The move comes to address the increase in attendance at previous dances which makes the Commons too small.

Tickets are $5 and all the money goes to St. Jude.
