Homecoming Week Themes Showcase School Spirit

The Dunlap Eagles showed their school spirit during homecoming week by dressing the part.

The themes for this year’s annual theme week include: pajama day, starstruck day (students dress up as their favorite stars), cowboys vs aliens day, class shirt day, and crazy maroon and gold day. 

According to assistant principal Bagby,  “[Theme week] is a good way for students to express their school spirit.”

Starstruck: Mrs. Iadiapaolo, a Spanish teacher, dressed up as famous Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo.

Class Shirt Day: Abraham and junior Will Weaver represented the class of 2021 with their class’ homecoming shirts. 

Meagan Slusher

Crazy Maroon and Gold Day: Junior DHS student, Meagan Slusher, says that although she loved this year’s week of themes, she hopes that next year they will include a pink out theme.
